Welcome to Barony, Dumfries
SRUC Barony Campus is set within a working 260 hectare estate, which is situated in the rolling landscape of Dumfries and Galloway in South West Scotland.
Barony Campus Sports Facilities
With its superb changing facilities, the Barony sports hall is suitable for badminton (4 courts), indoor tennis, carpet bowls, basket ball, volleyball, indoor football and table tennis - please enquire for rental options.
The sports hall annexe offers the most up to date and popular forms of self torture! This includes a state of the art treadmill, cycling machine and multi-gym. Ideal for an aerobic work out or other fitness training.
Your supporters can watch you compete from the comfort of the Kirkmichael bar which over looks the sports hall.
The outdoor sports we provide include angling in the Barony Barony Sports Badmingtonsport fishery and clay pigeon shooting which can be made available on request.
If you are a naturalist, bird watching from a custom built hide overlooking the pond or along the Ae valley may appeal. A visit to 'big wood' provides the best opportunity to see red squirrels, a common sight on the Barony estate.
