As well as building your understanding of the fundamentals of rural business management, this course offers the chance to explore other subjects.
Elective modules like food, agriculture, horse business, tourism, rural surveying and land management will give you a flavour of the ways that you can apply your qualifications.
That's backed by real-life case studies, often accompanied by site visits, that give you hands-on experience in the land-based industries.
A general route or specialist streams are available depending on your chosen campus.
If you're studying at our Edinburgh campus, you'll be able to follow the Rural Surveying pathway. That means your final degree will be RICS accredited, giving you the option of pursuing a career as a Chartered Rural Surveyor.
If you study in Aberdeen, your degree will be awarded by the University of Glasgow.
By the end of the course, you'll have the skills you need to develop a management career in the agri-food and land-based industries, tourism or self-employment.
This course can also be studied as a top-up degree.
