Accommodation 2020-2021

We believe it would be unfair to request you to pay for the full academic year of accommodation if you are not going to be staying on campus for the whole time. To help you, we have a new flexible way of booking accommodation at Barony, Craibstone, Elmwood and Oatridge. If you would like to stay with us at Barony, Craibstone, Elmwood or Oatridge for the full term, you can do so on similar terms and fees as 2019/2020 academic year. If you want a more flexible arrangement you can book accommodation on a nightly basis at the same time as your group's practical session and workshops. Please be assured that our Campus and Estates team are working closely with the Academic team to help your studies go as smoothly as possible. Whichever route you choose, accommodation will be available, and there is no rush to make a decision.

How to book accommodation

If you would like to book for a whole year you are welcome to add your name to the list now. You may choose to wait for information about when you will need to be on campus and then book your accommodation on a per night basis. Whenever you would like to reserve a room, you first need to submit the residence application form to your campus residential manager.

Download the Student accommodation application form here as PDF or as Microsoft Word document. Your campus residential manager must receive this information directly from you to confirm your accommodation.

General Information

SRUC Aberdeen has three residences with 98 rooms, offering both standard and en-suite accommodation on Campus. We also have two HMO properties for mature students.  Each property has 4 bedrooms and shared living facilities.

Should the number of applications for accommodation exceed the number of rooms available, all applications will be prioritised on the basis of distance of home address from the Campus, with applications from students living the farther distance ranked higher/prioritised.

Time is available at Open Days to view accommodation options and accommodation details are always sent to applicants to whom an offer is made.
