Laboratory Scientist (Molecular Biology)

Applications are invited for this full-time post in SRUC’s Veterinary Services Group based in the Molecular Biology Section of the Central Analytical Laboratory at the Pentlands Science Park, near Penicuik. The main duty is to test samples for bacterial and viral causative agents of animal disease, using molecular biology techniques.

Candidates should be qualified to degree level in a suitable discipline and preferably have previous laboratory experience of both conventional and real-time PCR techniques. ISO17025 or ISO9001 experience would also be desirable.
