We are seeking two Team Leaders to manage staff in our Carcass Evaluation Unit in collaboration with Aviagen, a world leader in poultry breeding. The postholders will manage groups of staff, of up to 18 people at any one time, in our licenced poultry processing plant, where poultry is processed and portioned in order to generate high quality data on carcass and component weight and quality. The postholders will be required to dealing with all aspects of poultry processing and operational issues on a day-to-day basis to ensure agreed service standards are delivered to a high quality.

Applicants should possess a good standard of secondary education. Knowledge and experience of Food Safety Management Systems e.g. HACCP is essential. Experience in all aspects of poultry processing is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

To be considered for this role, experience of management of staff in a supervisory role is essential as is IT literacy across all Microsoft PC packages.

These are full time roles of 37 hours per week. Two different working patterns are available. One is standard day time hours and the other includes shift work and working in the evenings. The days of work will be Monday – Friday.
